It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cheryl Ardoin.


Cheryl L . Ardoin (née Conner), aged 70, passed away on September 2, 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones.


Born on September 7, 1953, in Port Sulphur Louisiana, Cheryl lived a life marked by devotion to her family and a deep sense of kindness that touched all who knew her. Her unwavering love for her family, her wise counsel, and her deep faith in god were the cornerstones of her life.


Cheryl was a beacon of love, always ready with a kind word and sage advice. Her guidance was invaluable for her family, helping them navigate life’s challenges with grace and strength. She had an uncanny ability to listen and offer the perfect words of encouragement.


Her family was her greatest joy. She was always there. Whether it was for a comforting hug, a laugh, or a shoulder to cry on. Cheryl had many wonderful attributes. She was known for her generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand.


A devout follower of God, Cheryl Ardoin lived her life with grace and humility. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort, not only for herself but those who knew her.


She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty years, Millard R. Ardoin; her loving daughters, Irisa Mele and Ashley Stahl; her adoring grandchildren Ardra Padilla, Leah Ardoin, Jamie Mashore, Liam, Allie, and Silas Mele; her precious great-grandchildren, Wyatt Padilla, Winona Padilla, and her angel Khloe Treat. She also leaves behind her brother, Mark Conner. Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother, Miles Conner, and her parents, John Conner and Juanita Baldwin.


Cheryl's presence will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love, warmth, and generosity will live on through her family and the lives she touched.


Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
