Glenda Ullom-Devenport, age 65, passed away on December 27th, 2018 in Lancaster, California. Glenda was born on December 9th, 1953 in Granada Hills, California and had lived 37 years in the Antelope Valley.
Glenda spent her entire life being a model member of her community, from volunteering for Robert Kennedy's presidential campaign at just age 14, winning multiple Gold Medals in swimming at the Junior Olympics, becoming a Girl Scout and later a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts, achieving a fulfilling career as a medical lab assistant until retiring to spend more time with her family, including an active role in her son's PTA.
She joins her late husband of 18 years, Harry Devenport, who passed away in 2010. Glenda is survived by her son Gary Devenport, boyfriend David Aragon, both of Lancaster, and two sisters, Doreen Ullom-Buchan and Darla Vanderlip. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other loved ones.
