Henry Sanford

Henry “Sandy” W. Sanford—Born May 31, 1937 in Beloit, Ohio and passing away at Palmdale, California July 3, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Sanford, son Christopher Sanford, brothers David Sanford, William Sanford, and parents Henry M and Anita Sacconi Sanford.
He is survived by his brother Gary and Effie Sanford, sister-in-law Carol Sanford both of Alliance, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his adopted Ned Brophy family.
Henry served five years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as U.S. Army civilian employee as a senior crew and maintenance chief testing Army helicopters at Edwards Air Force Base.
He loved his wife Joyce and son Chris who were taken from him way too soon. Joyce and Sandy loved cruising, skiing, and traveling around the country in their fifth-wheel RV. They enjoyed being long time members of their local camping club.
Sandy was a born-again Christian man who loved the Lord, loved his church and bible study at Faith Community Church, and his pastor, friend Dean and Audrey Madison.
Memorial services are planned for Saturday September 23 at Faith Community Church, 39100 10th Street West, Palmdale, California. At 11:00 AM
