Larry Mc Phersen

“On March 14, 2016 at 7:35 AM, Dr. Larry T. McPherson passed on to a better place after a long battle with cancer.
For 40 years, Dr. Larry served the Antelope Valley and surrounding communities as an audiologist who deeply cared about his patients. He also served on the deacon board at First Baptist Church (now Grace Chapel) and supported many through the hardships of life. He was a faithful husband, devoted father, and loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his mother Lalla Elizabeth Crossland (1918-1974), father Loren Evan McPherson (1913-2004), his sister Penny Susan Whitfield (1952-1985), and his brother Don Allen McPherson (1947-2011).
He is survived by: his loving wife of 43.5 years Laurie Kay Whitehead; his daughter Rebecca Kathryn, her husband Mark Stephen Holmes, and his grandson Joseph Evan; as well as, his daughter Elizabeth Ann, her husband James “Jim” Matteri, and his grandson Azariah.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Dr. Larry requested that money be donated to Grace Resources or Samaritan’s Purse.”
